About Mel Cheeky.
Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for visiting my site. This website is primarily to give information about Mel Cheeky and the person behind the avatar. Mel Cheeky was rezzed on January 30th 2006. My real life name is Melanie, most people call me Mel - so the Mel part was pretty easy to come up with. The surname was also very easy, and one of those things that were just meant to be. My friend and I have many friendly nicknames that we call eachother (at least that's what he tells me hehe). Our favourite one by far is Cheeky. There we have it, Mel Cheeky was born! Within the first few days of being in second life, I began playing live shows. I didn't have many songs when I first started playing, but I had enough for an hour. To date, two years on, I have tripled my originals to 52. I mainly play originals at my shows, and may throw in the odd cover. I still only know about 10 covers so cannot do requests. I'd rather spend my time writing my own songs than learning someone else's (and I can get away with mistakes as being modifications in the song haha!). Many people tell me that they can relate to my songs. This is probably due to all my songs being written from the heart. I guess the raw emotions of that snippet in time is expressed well - at least I hope it is. I don't play that many shows in SL anymore - RL has taken over! I used to pack in 15 shows a week (oh dear - why??? hahaha!). I love playing in SL, but 2 or 3 shows a week is ample :) You can join my group to be kept up to date of my shows (although I have been known to get things wrong hahaha!) and updates of new cd's coming out etc. If you need any help with streaming, or would like me to play a show for you, please feel free to IM me inworld or send me an e-mail: taliesyn1997@yahoo.co.uk
When I'm not a human av, you can usually find me strutting my stuff as a tiny. Tines are just soooo adorably cute. My favourite tiny is 'Rocky racoon'. I bought him especially to dance at the Frogg and Jaycatt shows (when they perform Rocky raccoon). I have way too many tinies to list:
I've met so many wonderful people on second life. It's a great experience if you remember that RL comes first. I hope to see you at one of my shows!!!!
